The Pop Star Plays a Twisted Persona of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary Teaser

The Grammy-winning artist is getting ready for a significant big screen onslaught in 2026, starting with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

Within the project, she plays what she refers to as a dark version of her public image.

It’s the truest representation of the music business that I’ve ever seen, the star commented.

She clarified in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, however the inspiration came from the pressure to create one.

A Glimpse into The Moment

The debut trailer, launched on this week, combines actual recordings from Charli’s Sweat tour with made-up off-stage interactions.

The film is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who shared that the plot focuses on a world where Charli made entirely different choices in the marketing of her chart-topping release Brat.

She also agreed to star in the actress’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

The month of February will also include the debut of the director’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will include original songs from the singer.
